Japanese Sweet Potato

Beneath the purple skin, there is a creamy yellow flesh that gets deeper when cooked. I get my Japanese sweet potatoes from my  2-acres land at mukurwe-ini and from other farmers around the region.

My sweet potatoes are packed in 50kg sacks. I grade them as grade 1 or grade 2. Grade 1 is the large potatoes while grade 2 is medium-sized.

They are high in carbohydrates and dietary fiber, they provide a good source of energy. They are great source of vitamins especially vitamin A, minerals, potassium, copper and iron.

The product is naturally grown, no chemical added.  Due to the rich sandy soil and the availability of water, the sweet potatoes from the region are very clean and free from the pests.
