Vanilla planifolia* (Bourbon Vanilla)

Length: 14–20 cm (5.5–8 inches); Grade A pods usually 16–20 cm.

Color: Deep brown to black; glossy and oily Moisture Content: 30–35% for Grade A pods (moist and pliable), 20–25% for Grade B (semi-dry)

Aroma Profile: Rich, creamy, sweet with floral and cocoa-like undertones

Vanillin Content: 1.8–2.2% (varies by curing and teroir

Taste: Smooth, bold, lingering sweetness; ideal for culinary and cosmetic use.

Grading: Follows Bourbon vanilla grading system: Grade A (Gourmet), Grade B (Extraction)

Export Documents Provided: Certificate of Origin, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Organic Cert (if applicable). If any specific certificate is required, please inform us and arrangements can be made.

Tracking provided. Depending on the shipping mode selected, order can be tracked upon dispatch. Exporters can consolidate with other Tanzanian spices (e.g., cinnamon, cloves, black pepper).

Main Harvest: June – September. Best availability for high-grade, long pods. Secondary Harvest: January – March. Smaller volumes; still high quality

Ordering Window: Year-round (stocked via cured batches). Fresh harvest pods ready 2–3 months post-curing
