About this Honey

Keurkloof Honey

All our honey originates from our farm Keurkloof, in the Elands River Valley (Eastern Cape.) There are two predominant unique vegetation types, found only in the southern coastal regions of South Africa. Albany thicket and Fynbos.

  • We have  two distinct types of honey available at different times of the year, depending on what plants are flowering.
  •
  • Fynbos honey is usually darker with a very unique and has stronger taste mainly due to flowering aloes.

  • Albany thicket honey is lighter honey with a unique milder flavour.

We can supply in 500g glass or 500g plastic bottles, as well as in 1000l ibc containers.

NOTE:

  • We unfortunately cannot control the bees production of light or dark honey, and therefore the colour and flavour of our honey may vary at different times of the year.
